Connecting People to People and to Our Place
Linnea Miller, Councilwoman
Meet Linnea
Linnea Miller has called Suwanee home for over two decades, bringing heart, vision, and hands-on leadership to the city she loves. First elected to City Council in 2014, Linnea has spent years listening deeply, showing up consistently, and working alongside neighbors to build a community where everyone feels connected and valued.
Whether championing public art, mentoring young professionals, or advocating for parks and opportunities for people to connect and thrive, Linnea leads with intention and integrity. She is a staunch ally for public safety, in our community and across the state of Georgia, fully resourcing Suwanee PD, and serving as a strong voice for legislation that promotes mental health, safety and community policing. Her energy and passion allow her to be an effective and influential voice representing Suwanee. She's helped shape Suwanee's reputation as a vibrant, forward-thinking city-one that welcomes families, fosters creativity, and celebrates what makes us unique.
Beyond her role on Council, Linnea is a small business owner. In her role as President of Long Table, she's worked with hundreds of businesses (largely local to Gwinnett), helping to develop leaders and empower teams. She is an active volunteer where she's earned recognition for her commitment to public service through advanced leadership programs and continues to serve on local and state boards that strengthen cities across Georgia. She is most proud of her family. Linnea and her husband Eric have four children and three grandchildren.
On November 4, Linnea respectfully asks for your vote to continue serving Suwanee with humility, hope, and a deep belief in the power of community. Together, we can keep building a Suwanee where people are connected to each other and this place we call home.

Prioritizing What Matters Most to You
Key Issues
Public Safety
Suwanee is one of the safest cities in the nation - and we intend to keep it that way. I fully support resourcing our police department and strengthening community-oriented policing that builds trust, transparency and keeps us safe and secure.
Diverse & Welcoming Community
Suwanee is a mosaic of backgrounds, stories, and strengths. Suwanee has a strong international and ethnically diverse community bringing ideas, skills and culture to our city. I'm committed to cultivating a city where everyone feels seen, valued, and invited to shape our shared future.
Managed Growth
Growth should be intentional, not accidental. I advocate for development that reflects our values, protects greenspace, identifies character areas and ensures that Suwanee remains a place where families thrive and neighbors stay connected.
Fun Growth Facts:
Since 2023 Suwanee has added 96 citizens
Since 2024, Suwanee approved 9 residential building permits
Transparent Government
I believe in open doors and open data. From publishing detailed city reports to engaging residents in strategic planning, I'm committed to making sure every voice is heard and every decision is clear.
Check out these fun sources of information! Suwanee Annual Report, Open Budget, Current Construction, Suwanee Approach Statements and more!
Property Taxes
I believe in managing a city budget that is fiscally responsible, balancing the needs of the community with the needs of families managing their own increasingly tight budgets. That's why I've helped oversee a budget that has kept Suwanee's millage rate low and steady for more than 15 years. With a AAA bond rating and a proven track record of financial stewardship, I'm committed to maintaining high-quality city services without compromising the stability of our budget.
Dedicated Green Space
With 12 award-winning parks-5 of which are new or reimagined-Suwanee leads in creating spaces that bring people together. I'll continue championing investments in parks, trails, and gathering places that foster joy, wellness, and community.
